Join us for a night of stargazing in our first Special Saturday Camper Night Out

Our new Special Saturday Camper Nights Out are a chance to enjoy nature later than usual, with hours that vary depending on adventure.

Our first event will be from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, for a night of star and planet gazing at F.D. Roosevelt State Park with a program led by staff from the Coca Cola Space Science Center at Columbus State University and park rangers. 

After a presentation by Dr. Rosa Williams, mobile telescopes will be available for campers to participate in night sky viewing. Cost is $60 with drop-off at 3 p.m. and pickup between 9:30-10 p.m. Pizza dinner is included.
